Armaf Shades is an amazing Chypre cologne. A Chypre fragrance is one characterized by citrusy top notes as well as mossy or floral accords throughout. This fragrance definitely falls into that category. Shades has top notes of violet leaf, plum, pineapple, bergamot, lime and cardamom. The central notes include sage, rosemary, jasmine, geranium and cedar needles. Lastly, the base consists of white musk, sandalwood, patchouli, cedar and ambergris.
